Chiltern Dynamics' has weather testing rigs able to accommodate samples up to 4000mm high and 3500mm wide.
We have UKAS accreditation for British and European test standards, including:
Pedestrian doors
- BS EN 6375 Part 1: 2004
Air permeability (EN 1026)
Water tightness (EN 1027)
Wind resistance (EN 12211)
Industrial Doors
Air permeability (EN 12427)
Water tightness (EN 12489)
Wind resistance (EN 12444)
Weathertightness is a mandated requirement of the Product Standards for Pedestrian doors and windows (prEN 14351-1) and for Industrial doors (EN 13241). Publication of the Product Standard means manufacturers will:
need to comply with the
Construction Products Directive
be able to
CE mark
their products.
EN 13241 has already been published and EN 14351-1 was published in 2006.
