New Q-Mark scheme for window & door installers

Carpentry and joinery specialists BW Consultants Ltd have gained the BM TRADA Certification Q-Mark for Survey and Installation of Windows and External Doorsets.  The company has recently completed the installation of 38 Mighton Ecotilt sliding sash windows at Laing O’Rourke’s multi-million pound development of a listed building in Tooley Street, London.

BWC Managing Director Steve West said, ‘We decided to go down the Q-Mark route because we wanted to differentiate ourselves from other installers. Another goal was to be registered with Secured by Design and for this we needed third-party certification.’  BM TRADA Product Certification Manager Simon Beer said, ‘Correct installation is essential to maintain all aspects of product performance.’
