Fastframe UK Ltd of Nottingham has achieved the BM TRADA Q-mark for Enhanced Security Windows and Doors, as well as BFRC A and C window energy ratings for its Deceuninck 2800 Series, with BM TRADA Certification.
The £3.5 million turnover company manufactures PVCu windows, doors and patios. Commercial Director Paul Moody said, ‘We chose BM TRADA Q-mark to enable us to compete in additional business sectors. As a result, we can now tender for larger commercial projects, offering a higher specification product. Not only does this mean that we are better served to meet our customers’ requirements, we can also provide the reassurance that our products meet the required standards they seek. Importantly for us, it represents additional income streams and will provide us with a strong advantage in an increasingly competitive marketplace.’
A key aspect of all the Q-Mark schemes is audit testing. This provides customers with the assurance that any Fastframe product, selected at random from the production line, will perform to the same high standards as the products initially type tested.
