Dalgan Wood Industry in Shrule, Galway, Ireland, has achieved BM TRADA Q-Mark certification for windows and doors. For more than 40 years the family-run business has been manufacturing and installing windows and doors, in timber, PVCu and aluminium.
The company has been awarded Q-Mark certification for its PVCu casement window under the General Performance and Enhanced Security schemes, while its PVCu external doorset has achieved the Q-Mark for Enhanced Security. In addition, the company has been awarded BFRC A, B & C window energy ratings for the PVCu window and anticipates that its timber casement window will be awarded a B rating by the time Interbuild opens. Certificates will be presented to Quality Manager John Monahan at Interbuild on 27th October.
Managing Director Peter McCarthy said, ‘We undertook Q-Mark certification because we know that we are manufacturing quality products, but wanted to demonstrate, through independent certification, that we believe in our products and that our customers can therefore have total faith in us.’
