Chiltern International Fire (CIF) has appointed Terry Wentworth to the position of Senior Technical Officer in its Fire Behaviour section. He will report to Section Leader Philip Howard.
Mr Wentworth brings more than 20 years’ experience in the off-site construction sector to the role, created to respond to growing demand for reaction to fire testing. Formerly Technical Liaison Manager for Terrapin Ltd, he led multi-disciplinary teams designing and manufacturing steel and timber-framed building systems.
Philip Howard said, ‘Terry’s understanding not only of building systems and components, but also of regulations and Building Control requirements, will be of value to the team.’
