BM TRADA Group makes its mark at 'The Big 5' in Dubai

Following a successful exhibition last year, Chiltern International Fire and Chiltern Dynamics will join the BM TRADA Group stand within the Building & Construction section at ‘The Big 5’ exhibition in Dubai from 23rd – 26th November 2009, promoting fire and mechanical testing and consultancy alongside BM TRADA Q-Mark certification for windows and doors.

The BM TRADA brand, recognised worldwide, has access to an extensive network of joint venture companies and overseas representatives through BM TRADA Certification, which enables group companies to act as a portal to external markets for clients.

According to CIF Chief Operating Officer Jon Osborn, ‘As a global group for the global marketplace, we have increased both our national and international recognition, as well as allowing seamless integration of services between operations, which also include TRADA Technology, CCB Evolution and FIRA.’

He added, ‘We are now taking certification and testing to more than 70 countries worldwide. Our clients will never be far from a BM TRADA representative, on the ground, who can interpret local standards requirements.‘ The BM TRADA Q-Mark for fire doors is specified by Dubai Civil Defence and other government bodies within the Gulf.

The largest trade show for the construction industry in the Arabian Gulf, the 2009 Big 5 event will be 15% bigger than last year. It combines seven major exhibitions under one roof, featuring some 2,500 companies from 52 countries. More than 58,000 key buyers and decision makers from the public and private sectors attended last year, including contractors, specifiers, architects and engineers.
