Air tightness: invaluable guide from Chiltern Dynamics

Chiltern Dynamics has produced a further free technical information sheet to assist designers, builders and developers to pass the air tightness test, now compulsory under Approved Document L – Conservation of Fuel & Power of the England & Wales Building Regulations. The regulations apply to most new buildings, including large extensions to existing non-dwellings.

TI-0809: Achieving Air Tightness - in Buildings will help identify potential areas of air leakage and how to prevent them.  The regulatory requirements themselves are covered in more detail in Technical Information Sheet TI-0808: Air Tightness Testing.
