10% discount on ‘Timber Fire Doors Explained’ training days

Fire resistance test on timber doors

Chiltern International Fire and sister company BM TRADA Certification are offering a10% discount on their ‘Timber Fire Doors Explained’ training days on 23rd September and 11th November 2010. The one-day course includes a full-scale fire door test, allowing delegates to witness first hand the dramatic effects fire can have on a poorly manufactured and installed fire door.

Colin Whitehead, Operations Manager, Youngs Doors in Norwich, said, ‘To have the function of fire doors explained, and to witness a full-scale fire performance test by a UKAS-accredited independent body are vital elements in understanding the benefits of selecting and correctly installing fire doors. The dangers and risks of non–compliance speak volumes.’

‘Timber Fire Doors Explained’, aimed at manufacturers, installers, property managers, specifiers and approved inspectors,  takes place at Chiltern International Fire’s test laboratory, High Wycombe. Quote WFDE-A10 by 10th September to book at the discounted rate of £247.50 + VAT (TRADA members) and £279.00 + VAT (non-members). Download the event brochure here.
