We offer specially designed fire brigade training facilities for carbonaceous, live fire training that were set up in conjunction with UK Fire & Rescue services to comply with FBU requirements.

The facility was originally developed as part of research conducted by Tyne & Wear Metropolitan Fire Brigade to establish and monitor the changing internal environment during deployment of PPV.

Chiltern International Fire has worked closely with Buckinghamshire Fire & Research Service to further develop the facility as a training centre that meets the Brigade's PPV training requirements.  DO Brian Dugdale, who coordinated Bucks' PPV, CFBT and BA implementation, commented:

"The facilities offered by Chiltern Fire offered us a unique opportunity to develop and refine our PPV operational procedures in a situation where they are most likely to be needed".
