Chiltern relaunches Proving Times in electronic format
Chiltern International Fire & Chiltern Dynamics have relaunched their technical newsletter Proving Times in a new, electronic format. According to Chief Operating Officer Jon Osborn, ‘This snapshot of the range of research, consultancy and testing facilities we now offer, combined with the broad spectrum of projects we are involved in, will give clients some insight into the many ways in which we can help their business.
Chiltern Fire and Chiltern Dynamics also provide testing and technical support for sister company BM TRADA Certification. The new e-newsletter will therefore also cover news and developments within BM TRADA Q-Mark product certification schemes, the British Fenestration Rating Council Window Energy Rating scheme and CE marking of construction products.
The first issue covers a diverse range of stories, including a new test methodology for sliding doors, research into wheelie bin fires, a new Q-Mark scheme for window and doorset installers and news about free technical information sheets on air tightness and fire safety in heritage buildings.
